Technical
requirements:
- 6 years IT and 3 years
DBMS experience
- knowledge of two ore more of the following databases:
DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL
- experience in a
mainframe or midrange environment
- experience in a
development environment
- excellent database
design and SQL skills
- experience of
performance & tuning
- familiar with DBMS
support tools
- good communication
skills
- able to lead a team of
DBA’s
Job profile:
- advise end-users
including datawarehouse staff
- assess logical and
technical datamodels
- advise on the
selection and use of database support tools
- formulate database
standards and documentation
- coordinate the
activities of various DBA’s
Education:
- A-level (mimimum)
- Windows certified
- Two ore more certifications regarding one of the
above mentioned database management systems
- DB2 Z/OS expertise
