• 3 years IT and 1 year DBMS experience
• knowledge of one ore more of the following databases: DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL
• experience in a mainframe or midrange environment
• understanding of  the principles of a relational DBMS
• basic SQL knowledge
• good communication skills
• able to work as a teammember

Job profile:

• Advise end-users
• Installation and migration of databases
• Database design and advise on use of  SQL
• Database performance & tuning
• Development of  backup & recovery strategies

Education:

• A-level (mimimum)
• Windows or UNIX administration or Mainframe courses
• SQL cursus
